High School – IB Programmes

Our high school is located at our Østerbro Campus and offers two pathways: the IB programmes (MYP 5 and Diploma Programme) and the Danish STX programme. Students learn in a supportive environment with a focus on developing them intellectually, emotionally, physically, and socially.

The IB programmes are rigorous and demanding, which is why our approach balances academic challenge with genuine support. High school is a crucial time for you to clarify your interests, develop independent thinking, and prepare for your next steps. We help you navigate this challenge by knowing you well, providing consistent guidance, and creating a community where you feel secure enough to take risks and learn.

Which pathway is right for me?

If you choose the IB pathway, you begin with IB MYP 5 (Grade 10). The International Baccalaureate Organisation recognises the MYP as the best preparation for the Diploma Programme. Through MYP 5, you develop the critical thinking skills, independent learning habits, and resilience you need to succeed in the Diploma Programme years. If you're interested in the Danish STX pathway, you start in STX 1g. You can learn more about our STX programme here

IB MYP 5 (Grade 10)

Students complete the final year of the IB Middle Years Programme. MYP 5 is equivalent to Danish 1g and the final year of the British GCSE/IGCSE.

The MYP is a broad and rigorous curriculum focused on contextual, conceptual, and inquiry-based learning. It encourages students to think creatively and critically, making practical connections between their studies and the world around them.
